Laurence Cohen FCA

Laurence joined the firm after the death of Mr Gordon Down in 1988 when he and his partner Brian Harris acquired the practise.

Laurence is a scouser  (Liverpudlian) and was born and bred off Penny Lane made famous by the Beatles song of the same name.

Laurence grew up in the 60’s when Liverpool was to many the musical capital of the world, with so many famous groups and singers hailing from Liverpool’s Cavern Club.

Surrounded by such musical legends it was only natural that he decided to become an accountant!!!

Laurence has worked for the large national accountancy firms, for large PLC’s and has also been in business in his own right. So he has a genuine knowledge of the day to day challenges of running your own business.

Laurence has worked in the South Wales community since 1977. As well as assisting 100’s of practise clients Laurence is also actively involved with Charities and sports organisations.
